Building on ALIVE’s UEF Matrix Shielding, EXCITE benefits from a higher resolution Level 2 UEF Matrix Shielding and an expanded geometry that adds 1 x Pure Silver Air Strings for RCA and 2 x Air Strings for XLR hand built in our California factory from 99.9999% pure Silver Monofilament conductors in an air dielectric. To lower your system’s noise floor further still the shields of EXCITE interconnects are tied direct to ground, not your components, so you get all of the music without the noise.

As with all Atmosphere X cables, EXCITE comes standard with built in UEF Quantum Resonator technology and a conditioning process first developed for our BLUE fuses. We then zap each cable with 1,000,000 volts of electricity on our big Tesla Coil for improved signal propagation at the molecular level.

After perfecting the most natural-sounding and holographic cables in our history, we set out to take them further with a new high voltage conditioning process that applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. We experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. We even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol.

SR XLR

Connectors are not all created equal. After years of research into connector design we chose high purity, high conductivity, low mass Silver as the base material for SR20 RCA and XLR connectors to deliver more refined detail and accurate information. Teflon is used for it’s dielectric properties and the special design gives the greatest area of contact both for wire and plugs insuring that all of your music will get through. These high performance connectors are standard on our Flagship Galileo Interconnects and can be added to Atmosphere as a performance driven upgrade path.
