Canadian Hi-Fi Terms & Conditions

Accepted Payments Methods

1) Bank wire transfer
2) Certified cheque
3) Money order
4) Personal cheque (funds must clear before goods will be shipped)

Title of goods remains with Canadian Hi-Fi until purchase is paid in full.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to an excessively high rate of credit card frauds/charge backs, Canadian Hi-Fi will no longer accept credit cards as a mode of payment. To maintain our extremely low pricing policies we can no longer offer this service to our customers. The following methods of payment will be accepted: bank wire transfers, money orders, certified cheques as well as personal cheques. However, if you choose to make payment via personal cheque, please understand that the goods purchased will not be shipped until the funds clear. Canadian Hi-Fi will assist in additional charges relating to overnight payments/transfers.

Shipping Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for all shipping, insurance, brokerage and duty charges if applicable.

Canadian Hi-Fi will arrange the shipment of goods purchased on behalf of the customer. Upon acceptance of the goods by the carrier, the carrier assumes responsibility for its safe arrival. Should you receive the shipment in a damaged condition, apparent or concealed, a claim for damage must be made upon the carrier.

Upon receipt of goods, if shipment appears damaged, co-signee (customer) must declare {DAMAGED} on the courier’s waybill, express receipt or digital pad along with your signature. If the shipment is damaged, apparent or concealed, you must contact Canadian Hi-Fi within 24 hours so that we may assist you with the claim process. Please note Canadian Hi-Fi is not responsible for the damaged product, the carrier company is responsible for any damages that occurred in transit. Failure to declare the damages upon delivery and contact Canadian Hi-Fi within 24 hours may result in a claim being denied be the carrier.

Refund & Return Policy

1) Title of goods remains with Canadian Hi-Fi until purchase is paid in full.
2) Two percent per month finance charge will be applied to all past due accounts.
3) No merchandise will be accepted without a return authorization number and a copy of the original invoice.
4) All returns must be presented in original condition with original packaging.
5) Canadian Hi-Fi offers a 7-Day Return Policy with a 20% restocking fee applied.
6) After 7 days, a store credit will be issued with a 20% restocking fee applied.
7) All claims for damaged goods must be made immediately to courier (see Shipping Disclaimer).
8) If the customer desires to return goods to Canadian Hi-Fi, they are responsible for all shipping, relevant insurance and brokerage charges, where any of the above charges will be deducted from the total invoice amount.
8) Refunds will be issued after reception of the goods and quality inspection (note: not to exceed two weeks).
